110ft Close Board Fence Installation –
Social Club, Greenford

We were asked to install a new 110ft close board fence for a social club in Greenford, replacing an existing fence. The fence was constructed using mortised concrete posts, triangular arris rails and concrete gravel boards.

The Challenge

There were two main challenges on this project:

1. There were different ground levels between the club’s property and the neighbouring garden, which meant a standard straight fence line could not be used.

2. There was also a large tree positioned directly within the fence line.

Our Approach

The existing fence and concrete posts were removed and disposed of before installation began.

A new fence line was then set out to bridge the change in levels between the two properties.

Where the tree obstructed the line, the fence was pulled back towards the club to work around it.

The Result

The new fence runs across the full 110ft with a consistent line, adjusted to suit the ground levels and site conditions.
